1. Who we are

EXD Media Pvt. Ltd. ("EXD", "we", "us") operates the website at exd.com and associated newsletter services. Our registered address is Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. For privacy-related queries, contact us at nishit@onedigital.co.in.

2. Data we collect

We collect: Email address (when you subscribe or create an account), Name (when you submit a pitch or advertise enquiry), Usage data (pages visited, time spent — no third-party ad tracking), Payment data (handled entirely by Razorpay; EXD never stores card numbers).

3. How we use your data

To send the newsletter you signed up for; to process membership payments; to respond to pitch and advertising enquiries; to improve the site based on aggregated, anonymised patterns. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — session management and preference storage. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without materially affecting your ability to read EXD content.

5. Data retention

We retain your email address for as long as your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, your address is deleted within 30 days. Account data is retained for 12 months after account closure unless a longer period is required by law.

6. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to object to processing or request restriction; and to data portability. To exercise any right, email nishit@onedigital.co.in. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Third-party services

EXD uses: Sanity (content management), Razorpay (payments), Vercel (hosting). Each is governed by their own privacy policies. We select partners who meet high data-protection standards.

8. Content attribution

EXD aggregates and contextualises content from third-party press releases. All such content is attributed to its original source with a link to the primary publication. If you are a copyright holder and believe content has been used without adequate attribution, contact nishit@onedigital.co.in.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law or our practices. Material changes will be communicated via the newsletter. The last-updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
